Oxygen therapy in action
Since the centre opened 40 years ago we’ve helped thousands of people with a range of conditions from MS to broken bones. Everyone’s experience and journey is different, and there are some amazing stories to be told. You can hear firsthand from some of our members how oxygen therapy has benefited them.
Louise
Louise has been coming to the centre for over 20 years to help with her MS, she’s seen life changing benefits and is now chair of the charity.
Paul & Paul
The two Pauls both have MS and between them have had 1600 oxygen therapy sessions and are great advocates of it and the centre.
Avril
Avril was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage 3C in 2018 and is a regular visitor to the centre, having seen the positive effects of oxygen therapy.
Laura’s Testimonial – Long Covid
I wanted to share my positive experience with Suffolk Oxygen Therapy in managing my Long Covid symptoms.
For over a year, I struggled with debilitating fatigue, brain fog, nausea, and dizziness. It was a challenging time, to say the least. I started oxygen therapy in October 2024, and although I didn’t notice an immediate improvement, I decided to keep at it. By late December 2024, I began to see a significant reduction in fatigue. Initially, I attended three sessions a week, and after four months, I reduced it to two sessions a week. Now, seven months later, I visit the center once a week.
The results have been remarkable. My energy levels have vastly improved, my brain is functioning normally again, and I have been able to return to work on a part-time basis. While I’m not quite ready to return to running marathons just yet, I can exercise regularly without it impacting my energy levels. I wholeheartedly recommend Suffolk Oxygen Therapy to anyone experiencing Long Covid symptoms. The staff there are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I can’t praise them enough for their support.
Best,
Laura
Freya’s Feedback
I just wanted to send lots of love from Me & Freya. We miss seeing you all every week & hope you are all keeping well. Freya has just turned 3, so we wanted to send some photos & thank you all so much for welcoming us into the SOTC family last September.
I know oxygen has helped so so much in Freya’s recovery.
Freya is starting a pre-school in January & I can’t believe my little girl is slowly but surely becoming more independent & she keeps on ticking everyday.
Take care & promise we will pop in at some point.
